User Data Deletion Instructions

eSIM Duhy respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and all related data, including data obtained when signing in with Facebook.
1. Data We Store
When you use our service or sign in with Facebook, we may store the following:
- Account info: name, email, phone number, profile picture
- Facebook auth info: Facebook ID, public email (we do not store your Facebook password)
- Order history, purchased eSIM codes, payment info (encrypted)
- Technical logs: IP address, user agent, sign-in timestamps
2. How to Request Deletion
There are 2 ways to submit a deletion request:
- Option 1 (recommended): Email support@duhy.vn with subject "Data Deletion Request", including your registered email and/or Facebook ID.
- Option 2: Log into your account → go to Profile → click "Delete Account" (if available).
3. Information to Include
- Registered email or Facebook ID used to sign in
- Phone number (if available) for verification
- Reason for deletion (optional)
4. Processing Time
We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within a maximum of 30 days after confirmation. Once deleted, personal data cannot be recovered.
5. Data Retained by Law
Some data must be retained under Vietnamese law (e.g. e-invoices and financial transaction logs must be kept for at least 5 years under the Accounting Law). Such data will be anonymized and used solely for accounting/audit purposes.
6. Disconnecting Facebook Only
If you only want to unlink Facebook (without deleting your eSIM Duhy account), go to Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites → find "eSIM Duhy" → click Remove. Your eSIM Duhy account stays active and you can sign in again with email/password.
